As a result of our involvement in various research projects, GfPS mbH was awarded the “Innovation through Research” seal by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft e. V. Essen.
The Stifterverband is one of the largest private sponsors of science in Germany. In addition to its commitment to young academics, excellent universities and cutting-edge research, it is also responsible for examining and evaluating the German research and innovation system.

GfPS was honored for its collaboration in the development of a disinfection drone, among other things. The coronavirus pandemic has shown how important reliable, comprehensive disinfection is, even in large areas such as public transport or large indoor spaces. Manual disinfection is usually not sufficient here; it is not possible to check the effective performance. The CleanDrone disinfection drone enables 360° wetting of complex surfaces with disinfectant; people are no longer exposed to the direct spraying process. A thermal imaging camera on the drone is used for quality control.
